Eat Well Be Well VoxBox

Was super excited to receive the Eat Well Be Well VoxBox from Influenster

I received a coupon to try a free product from Udi's Gluten Free and I chose the Three Cheese Pizza. It was super tasty & yummy which was slightly surprising for being a gluten-free product. I especially liked the crust which was crunchy and had a great texture. I'd definitely purchase this product in the future. πŸ‘πŸΌ

From Glutino I got a mini package of gluten-free pretzel twists. These were very yummy! Great texture and just enough of a salty taste to them. I normally prefer my pretzels to have a more butter taste to them but I did enjoy these and would definitely purchase over my normally fav pretzel brand. πŸ‘πŸΌ

I received a coupon to try a free product from EVOL Foods and I chose the Truffle Parmesan Mac & Cheese. I was excited to try this but was disappointed. As it was cooking the truffle oil smell was soo overpowering that it completely made it unappetizing. The taste also was lagging. Completely bland, almost no cheese flavor. Again, the truffle oil smell was overpowering. I did like the panko breadcrumbs but they couldn't help add any real flavor to a tasteless meal. Also, the portion is very small in comparison to calories, the bowl wasn't even half filled! Definitely not a filling lunch even if it had tasted good. I'd still be open to trying other meals by this brand but this one in particular was a huge πŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

From Earth Balance I received a coupon to try a product for free. This one I had the most trouble finding in stores! I know they offer a variety of products but after going to Target, Safeway, Walmart, and Save Mart, I was only able to find butter at Nob Hill. So I guess butter it is πŸ˜’. To me butter is butter. As long as it's spreadable without tearing up bread, I'm good. This was as comparable to my current brand of butter and since it's not as easily accessible as that brand I prolly won't be switching unless this brand is more readily available.

Extraordinary Oil = Extraordinary Hair

I had hoped that the L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil shampoo would be a good dupe for Pureology's Precious Oil but it didn't quite live up to that.

First off, looks...I love the bottles. I love when shampoo bottles are made to stand up on their lids so you can make sure to get every last drop! Kudos for designing them like that as most don't. I also like how the shampoo bottles are clear so you can see how much product is left.

Secondly, product...I enjoyed that it had a nice pleasant scent. Not too perfume-y or chemically. I also liked how it built up a great lather. What I didn't like was the oily consistency of the shampoo. Made me feel like I'm using more than I need to since it jus came out so easily. I tend to like a more creme based thicker shampoo.

Now on to results. I didn't feel like it stripped the natural oils in my hair nor did it make it necessarily more oily. I normally was my hair every othe day but found that using the shampoo required that I had to wash it everyday. My scalp was just a little bit more oily that it felt like there was a build up of product on my scalp. It's that residue feeling that disappointed me. It just never left my scalp feeling clean. Aside from that, my hair was softer and less frizzy.

After:

Overall it's a nice produc but won't replace my current shampoo. I could deal with the shampoo texture/consistency but can't get passed the residue build up on my scalp. I do love the conditioner and the serum. Those are definitely keepers.

Influenster Jingle Vox Box

So excited to receives Influenster's Jingle Vox Box!! It has a great assortment of goodies!

The one item I reached for first was the Kiss True Volume lashes in 'Chic' and Kiss lash glue. These lashes look so natural on but still give great length and volume. These definitely have replaced my previous favorite lashes! I like the glue with the brush a lot better than a squeeze bottle! So much easier to apply straight to the lash strip. Plus they held on all day!

Next up is NYC New York Color eyeliner. I'm not usually a pencil kind of girl. I have oily skin so usually the pencil just ends up smearing under my eye but I actually own several shades of their 24hr wear pencils and they do last a really long time and STAY PUT!!

Third favorite was the nail polish. I love a great neutral shade. So easy to wear for work and chips from typing all day aren't noticeable. Pure Ice shade in 'Shore Bet' is a sandy-beige. I think it would be flattering on every skin tone. Of course I had to jazz up my mani a bit 😊

Next up are the food portions! πŸ˜‹
A coupon for a free bag of Ore-Ida Tater Tots and Biscoff cookies.

I ate my Biscoff cookies in the morning with my protein shake. Either dip it or crumble them on top for a crunchy twist.

For the Tater Tots I made some breakfast Totchos! Scrambled eggs on top on crispy Tater Tots with sausage pieces and sprinkled with mild cheddar cheese, umm, best breakfast ever and ready in under 15 min!!

and for my cuddle side, a cute Olaf from Hallmarks Itty Bitty collection. Of course I went and looked to see what others were in the collection and they have so many!! Wizard of Oz, Scooby-Doo and a cute Rainbow Brite!

Overall, I was so impressed by this box. Not a bad apple in the bunch. So honored to have been chosen to review this box πŸ˜„

The Holy Grail of moisturizers!

I received a sample of Cetaphil's moisturizing cream from Influenster to try. I can understand why it is the HG of moisturizers!

As a person with oily skin, I still have a hard time believing that I should be putting products like this on my already oily skin but I notice such a difference when I do!! Moisturizers actually leave my skin less oily! Crazy right?

I love that Cetaphil has a thicker texture to it but it gets absorbed quickly. It's scent is pleasant too, nothing is worse than moisturizers that are too perfume-y (Why do they always smell like 'old lady'??).

Overall I'm pleased with this product and will keep it in my product rotation.

Ore-Ida TOTCHOS!!

Everyone has fond memories of standing in the lunchroom line anticipating those tasty, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside Tator Tots. Makes my mouth water just thinking of them. Luckily I'm a grown up and can make Tater Tots anytime but the new thing to do is to add a nacho twist. So many combinations to be had adding Tater Tots to the mix instead of tortilla chips! Ta-da, TOTCHOS!!!

I received a coupon for a free bag of Ore-Ida Tater Tots from my Influenster Jingle Vox Box.

So straight to the grocery store I went! Then back home to go through Instagram, Facebook and Ore-Ida's website to get ideas and inspiration from other Tatchos enthusiasts. They did not disappoint!

I decided to go with breakfast Totchos. I heated my Ore-Ida Tater Tots in the convection oven with a light spray of olive oil to keep them from sticking. I then scrambled up one egg, one sausage patty and layered them on top of the crispy Tater Tots and then sprinkled some mild cheddar cheese. Voila!! Total time took about 15min!!

They were just like how I remembered them and a guilt free way to enjoy Tater Tots in the morning during my break at work...boy, was I the envy of the breakroom!! Having been inspired by this Tatchos craze, I'll definitely be keeping a bag of Ore-Ida Tater Tots on hand.
